I've collected together a few blog reflections, which will sit alongside mine....
These give a sense for the diversity of offerings and experience...
Tony Cassidy shared his thoughts, and resources too... particularly in the context of our workshop, which I shall blog fully over the next few days.
Graeme Eyre shared his thoughts on Leszek Iwaskow's 'myth busting' session. I have previously blogged Leszek's thoughts on OFSTED and the misunderstandings. This provides a really useful summary for literacy in particular. Also, think carefully about this, particular in the context of the Quality Mark developments:
A good barometer of the Geography department of a school is the number of students choosing to study Geography at GCSE. If it is greater than 25% geographers are doing quality geography. If it is less than 10% there is a serious concern.
Ryan Bate gave his own impressions on Leszek's session too.
Ed Fraser's excellent description of life as a first-time visitor to the conference
Andy Knill added his thoughts on Mishmash learning .... there will be more to come
Sian Veysey has started blogging - she came along to a course I ran at Salzburg University at the start of the year. Some kind words about our workshops and Mission:Explore too. Check the Salzburg tag for details on the course - I'll let you know whether we are running the course again later in the year.
I shall update this post with more blogs as they emerge.... If you spot one (or write one) please get in touch...
Update - last updated 10/04/13
Paul Berry has added his thoughts on the conference. A nice mention for Karl Donert and our digitalearth project work here.
Daniel Evans - check out GEOGRAPHY WITH DAN, and also read the other blog posts... plenty of great stuff here...
